Cheder

Our weekly Cheder & Hebrew School for primary school aged children provides a great space for your child to learn about their Jewish heritage and their future within the community.

At Chabad, our goal is simple: we want our children to learn about Judaism using exciting and interactive learning methods, while at the same time imbibing a real love of being part of the Jewish Community.

We focus on Hebrew reading, Jewish history, Shabbat, the festivals and the Mitzvot, but also how to navigate the Siddur and the Chumash and take part in services which is a great preparation for Bar and Bat Mitzvah.

And, because we teach in small groups, we can provide individualised learning, using IT as well as a range of creative activities.

C-Kids club complements their Cheder experience with a range of events throughout the year, helping our primary aged kids to really delve into the meaning behind our festivals and Shabbat.
